Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas:

▪ The criminal operation carried out by special forces affiliated with the occupation army this morning in the Katiba area west of Gaza City, amid a densely populated area of residents and displaced people, and the heavy gunfire and airstrikes that accompanied it to provide cover for the infiltrating forces and their withdrawal, and which resulted in a number of martyrs and wounded; represents a serious crime and a deliberate disregard for civilian lives, and an extension of the brutal war of extermination against our people in the Gaza Strip, which has not stopped despite the signing of a ceasefire agreement in Sharm El-Sheikh under American and international sponsorship.

▪ The occupation government's escalation of its violations of the ceasefire agreement, its continued systematic targeting of civilians, and its tightening of the siege and deepening of the humanitarian catastrophe in the Strip; confirms the policy of defiance and arrogance pursued by war criminal Netanyahu toward the mediating countries and their role, and his disregard for international law and international humanitarian law.

▪ We call on the American administration and the mediating countries to take a clear stance on the occupation's crimes against civilians and condemn them, and to move immediately to stop the ongoing violations by the occupation government in the Gaza Strip, and to compel it to implement the requirements of the ceasefire agreement.

▪ We demand that the international community and its institutions, foremost among them the United Nations Security Council, take immediate measures to stop the occupation government's crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip, and work to hold those responsible for them accountable before international judicial bodies.
