▪ We affirm the commitment of the relevant government authorities in the Gaza Strip to harness all their capabilities to ensure the success of the electoral process as a fixed national entitlement, and to enable the Central Elections Commission to carry out its duties with full transparency and independence.

▪ Government institutions have begun taking a series of practical steps to ensure the electoral process proceeds in accordance with legal procedures, starting with full commitment to providing logistical and administrative facilities to enable the Commission to carry out its duties with complete freedom and professionalism, without any obstacles, and supplying the Commission with comprehensive and updated data from the civil registry and details of the population distribution, taking into account changes in citizens' places of residence and gatherings, and facilitating the Commission's access to the information required to complete the technical arrangements.

▪ In addition to providing the databases of licensed associations and civil institutions to enhance their role in community oversight of the electoral process in accordance with the governing legal frameworks, as well as creating the field conditions and general atmosphere for the success of this process, stemming from a keenness to strengthen popular participation and entrench the principle of recourse to the ballot boxes within an environment characterized by the highest standards of integrity and transparency.

▪ We affirm that the success of this process represents a shared national responsibility borne by the Palestinian collective.

▪ We call on all parties and relevant institutions to provide the appropriate positive climate for holding elections, respect the independence of the Central Elections Commission, and avoid any measures or positions that may disrupt or hinder this national entitlement.
