Al-Qassam Brigades:
We mourn the great martyr commander Mohammed Abd al-Salam al-Yazouri "Abu Haitham", a member of the General Military Council of the Al-Qassam Brigades and commander of the Khan Younis Brigade, who ascended yesterday evening following an assassination operation that targeted him.
The martyr "Abu Haitham" moved between several leadership positions in the Khan Younis Brigade, from commander of the Central Khan Younis Battalion to head of the brigade's intelligence, then the weapons and services battalion, and deputy commander of the brigade, reaching command of the Khan Younis Brigade.
He had a prominent role in planning the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation, and survived several assassination attempts during his career.
The Al-Qassam Brigades mourn its commander, pledging to continue the path of the martyrs, and affirming that thousands of commanders and mujahideen will continue the march until "purging the land and holy sites of the filth of the occupation".
