Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas:

▪ The decision by the occupation army to confiscate about 137,500 dunams of farmers’ land behind the separation wall in the town of Jius, north of Qalqilya, represents an open theft, a new settlement crime, and a blatant aggression against our land and our people, and an extension of the occupation’s policy aimed at annexation and displacement.

▪ The confiscation of large areas of citizens’ land, attempts to impose new settlement facts, and empty the West Bank of its people will not succeed in the face of our people’s steadfastness, resilience, and adherence to their land and rights.

▪ We warn of the danger of the continuation of these policies, which are taking place amid international silence, and we affirm that escalating land confiscation and expanding settlements will not grant the occupation any legitimacy on our land, and will not succeed in breaking our people’s will and determination to continue their path toward freedom and liberation.

▪ We call on our people in the West Bank and Jerusalem to escalate resistance and confront the occupation’s settlement plans by all possible means, and we call on the United Nations and the international community to assume their responsibilities and take practical steps to stop the occupation’s crimes, settlement, and land confiscation, which constitute a blatant violation of international law.
