Gaza Ministry of Health:

▪The worsening shortage of generator oil in hospitals increases the difficulty of continuing to operate them to meet daily electricity needs.

▪The limited quantities of oil allowed to enter during the past period are emergency quantities that are not sufficient for the required operating procedures and technical follow-ups.

▪Many hospital generators urgently need oil changes, and delay exposes them to technical and mechanical complications that may lead to their shutdown.

▪The monthly need for electric generator oil reaches 2500 liters.

▪The past few days have witnessed the توقف of a number of electric generators due to the unavailability of oil, spare parts, and sufficient fuel quantities.

▪The remaining generators in hospitals are operating around the clock under difficult technical and mechanical conditions and cannot meet the needs of vital and life-saving departments.

▪The Ministry of Health calls on all relevant parties to urgently intervene to bring in the emergency requirements to ensure the continued operation of the electric generators.
