In light of the continued lack of response to the appeals of the Gaza Strip Public Bus Companies Owners Syndicate regarding the provision of bus spare parts, including tires, oils, and basic maintenance materials, and after exhausting all available means to ensure the continuation of service, the syndicate announces the suspension of medical staff transport service.

We announce the suspension of the transport of doctors, nurses, and medical staff on Wednesday, 16 September 2026, which includes transporting them to their workplaces in hospitals and medical centers, including governmental and international ones.

This measure is forced and beyond our control, due to the unavailability of the operating and maintenance supplies necessary to ensure the safety of the buses and the continuation of service.

We renew our appeal to the concerned authorities and humanitarian and international institutions to intervene urgently and provide maintenance supplies, enabling the resumption of service and avoiding its complete halt.
