▪ Gaza City witnessed a tragic scene in the middle of last night after the collapse of the "Al-Saada" building over dozens of displaced families who had taken refuge there due to the lack of shelters.

▪ The building consists of 6 floors, and each floor has 4 residential apartments, and it was targeted at the beginning of the war.

▪ About 100 people are still missing under the rubble of the building, while Civil Defense teams have managed to pull out 9 people, including children and women.

▪ The occupation's refusal to allow in sufficient equipment and supplies hinders the rescue of victims and humanitarian intervention in the manner they deserve.

▪ About 2000 damaged buildings threatened with collapse are still inhabited by residents due to the lack of alternatives or sufficient spaces to establish shelter centers.

▪ We call on Nikolay Mladenov, the direct official in the "Peace Council" responsible for Gaza, to urgently intervene and assume his responsibilities regarding this tragic event and this disaster.

▪ We call on the international community and the guarantor states of the ceasefire to urgently intervene and provide excavators, heavy equipment and bulldozers to prevent new collapses.

▪ Thousands of missing persons are still under the rubble without the ability to retrieve them with the necessary means.
