▪ Vehicles in the Gaza Strip are not a luxury but a vital lifeline and are relied upon by ambulances, patient transport, water and food transport means, in addition to the fleet of vehicles and trucks used in transporting and distributing food and humanitarian aid.

▪ The continued ban on the entry of these supplies leads to the breakdown of an increasing number of vehicles and threatens the ability of humanitarian institutions to carry out their tasks, raises transportation and maintenance costs, and increases the burden on citizens under the exceptional conditions the Strip is living through.

▪ We demand urgent and immediate intervention and permission to bring in oils, spare parts, batteries, tires, and all necessary vehicle supplies as essential needs for the continuation of life and humanitarian services.

▪ We affirm our readiness to cooperate with the competent authorities and international institutions to establish a clear and organized mechanism that ensures the entry of these materials and their arrival to the sectors in need.

▪ Disabling vehicles means disabling an essential part of life and relief in the Gaza Strip, and the continued ban on the supplies needed to operate them deepens the humanitarian suffering and hinders the arrival of aid to those entitled to it..
