Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas:

▪Benjamin Netanyahu, against whom an arrest warrant has been issued by the International Criminal Court, storming the tunnels and excavations beneath the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Western Wall, along with the provocative statements and false claims about what is called “the Holy of Holies,” constitutes a blatant assault on the identity and status of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and an incitement to the feelings of our Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic nations.

▪The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with all its area, courtyards, prayer halls, walls, and gates, will remain a purely Islamic mosque, and this is an established fact. The occupation’s excavations, incursions, rituals, and attempts to impose its biblical narrative will not succeed in changing the identity of the place or erasing its landmarks.

▪What the criminal enemy is doing in terms of excavations, displays, and provocative statements, alongside its attempts to impose new realities in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, will not grant it any right in our holy sites. Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain a شاهد on the Arabness and Islamic character of Jerusalem, and on our Palestinian people’s adherence to its right to its land and holy sites.

▪In light of this dangerous escalation, we call on the أبناء of our people to travel to and remain steadfast at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to intensify their presence there, in defense of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa and to protect it from attempts to change its reality and identity.

▪We also call on the masses of our Arab and Islamic nation to assume their responsibilities toward Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to move to confront attempts to impose new realities on the Islamic holy sites.
