Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine:

▪The move by the head of the Zionist occupation government, war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, accompanied by a gang of his ministers and settler leaders, to storm Al-Buraq Square and desecrate the tunnels beneath the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, surrounded by a huge military arsenal and turning the Old City in occupied Jerusalem into a closed military barracks and imposing tight repressive measures against our steadfast people, is a brazen attack on Islamic holy sites and an insult to all Muslims and free people in the world.

▪The cheap desecration party led by Netanyahu at the Western Wall is nothing but an "election stunt" through which he seeks to save his troubled political future, even at the expense of igniting a religious war that will set the region and the whole world ablaze.

▪We mourn with pride and honor the heroic martyr who ascended at Ghenim checkpoint in Jenin, and we also bless and praise the heroic fedayeen operations that struck the occupation today in Ramallah and Jenin. These striking arms that smashed the settlers' fortresses and killed one of them in Ramallah came to repay the blow twice over and to affirm to Netanyahu that desecrating our holy sites has a heavy price that his soldiers and settlers will pay, and that the blood of our heroes is the scale that restrains the occupation's arrogance and frustrates its attempts to impose a new reality by force.

▪We express our condemnation of the utter silence by Arab and Islamic governments regarding this direct provocation at one of the holiest sanctities of Muslims, at a time when Netanyahu persists in a war of genocide and the destruction of villages, towns and cities in the steadfast Gaza Strip, the occupied West Bank and brotherly southern Lebanon, which constitutes cover and partnership for the occupation in its crimes and Judaization schemes.

▪We call on the masses of our proud nation and our people in Jerusalem and in the occupied interior to make their way, and intensify ribat and general mobilization in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to foil the Talmudic schemes, for Jerusalem was and will remain the compass of the free and the title of dignity, and shame and disgrace to the occupiers and the accomplices.

▪The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, with its walls, courtyards and its historical wall, will remain the greatest witness to the failure of the colonial Zionist project in Palestine. The Islamic identity of Jerusalem will remain firmly rooted and unbreakable thanks to the resistance of our people and the steadfastness of the murabitin.
