Corrections Policy

At “Ali Salem – Gaza” we are committed to the highest standards of journalistic accuracy. When we make a mistake we fix it, and when new information reaches us we update the story transparently:

1. Correcting errors

When an error is found in a published story, we amend the text immediately in its original place without deleting the story. We do not try to hide the error — we correct it openly.

2. Updating stories

When new or confirmed information arrives about a previously published event, we update the same story with the new details and make sure a “last updated” date is shown when needed.

3. Flagging significant corrections

If the error is substantive (a name, a casualty figure, the date of an event…), we add a short note at the end of the story explaining what was corrected and when.

4. Requesting a correction

Any reader or concerned party may send a correction request via the“Contact us” pageincluding the story link and the more accurate source. We review every request and respond as soon as possible.
