Gaza Ministry of Health: We warn of an enforced and sudden shutdown of electric generators due to the complete depletion of operating oils
Gaza Ministry of Health: ▪ We warn of an enforced and sudden shutdown of electric generators due to the complete depletion of operating oils, which exposes the engines to the risk of direct damage and total burnout at any moment. ▪ Engineering teams continue their work under complex technical conditions to monitor the electric generators and try to keep them operating to supply vital departments with electricity. ▪ The continuous depletion of the generators and their operation for thousands of continuous hours without oils or maintenance has brought them to the stage of final mechanical danger. ▪ We confirm that losing these generators due to the burning of their engines because of the lack of oils means losing the ability to operate them permanently, even if oils become available later. ▪ We renew our call to all relevant authorities to intervene urgently and immediately, as the matter is no longer limited to securing oils only, but has become about protecting what remains of the generators from complete collapse.
