Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: We mourn the martyrs Ashraf Dahlan, Shadi Abu Atiya and Sami Baroud, employees of the Islamic University security staff
Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: ▪We mourn the martyrs Ashraf Dahlan, Shadi Abu Atiya and Sami Baroud, employees of the Islamic University security staff, who were killed while on duty, and extend our deepest condolences to their families, the university administration, and their female and male colleagues. ▪The Israeli occupation’s targeting of the university with two airstrikes, coinciding with the start of regular in-person classes, represents an attack on efforts toward social recovery in the Gaza Strip, the restoration of its educational and national institutions, and the resumption of the educational process. ▪We call on academic and educational institutions around the world to stand in solidarity with the universities of the Gaza Strip, which are facing a systematic Israeli targeting that affects educational institutions and the conditions for their continuity, as part of the comprehensive war of extermination on the Palestinian presence in the Strip. ▪We call on free people of the world to escalate solidarity action and pressure governments to take serious positions and measures that put an end to the occupation’s crimes, the war of extermination, and the plans of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

▪ We mourn to the masses of our steadfast Palestinian people the martyr and heroic resistance fighter Abd al-Karim Bani Jaber, whom the criminal Zionist occupation forces assassinated after besieging him in a house in the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus, and engaging in a heroic clash that lasted for hours. ▪ We mourn the martyr hero Bani Jaber, who refused to surrender and submit to the criminal enemy. We affirm in Hamas that the fascist enemy’s crimes and the policy of killing and assassination it pursues against the sons of our people will not stop the resistance, and will not deter our people from continuing their struggle until they attain their freedom and independence. ▪ We stand with our fighters in the heroic West Bank, and call on the masses of our people to embrace them, support them and stand by them, and to unite in confronting the occupation and its aggression. Our people will remain steadfast and resolute on their land, adhering to the path of resistance, and defending their land and holy sites, no matter the sacrifices.

▪The total that arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours was: 4 martyrs and 5 injured. ▪A number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, amid the inability of ambulance and civil defense crews to reach them until this moment. ▪Since the ceasefire (11 October): Total number of martyrs: 1,355 Total number of injuries: 4,516 Total number of recoveries: 827 ▪Cumulative statistics since the beginning of the aggression on 7 October 2023: Cumulative number of martyrs: 73,662 Cumulative number of injuries: 174,627
Islamic Resistance Movement- Hamas:
▪We warn against the escalating war crimes committed by the occupation government and its army, and against the consequences of its announcement of a large-scale military operation in Shuafat camp and the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, accompanied by a tight siege, closure of entrances, bulldozing of infrastructure, and mass arrests among citizens. ▪Jerusalem, its towns and camps will remain purely Palestinian, and the occupation’s attempts to isolate it, Judaize it and impose its control over it will break against the steadfastness of its people, their will and their steadfastness on their land, and the occupation’s war machine will not succeed in passing its schemes and settlement projects; our people will remain steadfast and committed to their land and rights, until the aggression is repelled and the occupation ends. ▪We call on countries of the world, officially and popularly, to take broad and effective action to pressure the occupation to stop its aggression, hold its leaders accountable for their crimes, and provide all forms of support and backing to our people in confronting the occupation’s escalating aggression.
