Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: We mourn the martyrs Ashraf Dahlan, Shadi Abu Atiya and Sami Baroud, employees of the Islamic University security staff

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: ▪We mourn the martyrs Ashraf Dahlan, Shadi Abu Atiya and Sami Baroud, employees of the Islamic University security staff, who were killed while on duty, and extend our deepest condolences to their families, the university administration, and their female and male colleagues. ▪The Israeli occupation’s targeting of the university with two airstrikes, coinciding with the start of regular in-person classes, represents an attack on efforts toward social recovery in the Gaza Strip, the restoration of its educational and national institutions, and the resumption of the educational process. ▪We call on academic and educational institutions around the world to stand in solidarity with the universities of the Gaza Strip, which are facing a systematic Israeli targeting that affects educational institutions and the conditions for their continuity, as part of the comprehensive war of extermination on the Palestinian presence in the Strip. ▪We call on free people of the world to escalate solidarity action and pressure governments to take serious positions and measures that put an end to the occupation’s crimes, the war of extermination, and the plans of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

Haroun Nasser al-Din, member of the Political Bureau and head of the Jerusalem Affairs Office in Hamas:

▪ The field execution crime committed by the occupation at dawn today against a young man from East Jerusalem, under the claim that he attempted to carry out a stabbing attack at Bab al-Amud in the holy city, comes as part of its ongoing war and organized terror against our people everywhere, especially in the occupied city of Jerusalem, which is witnessing a dangerous escalation in the crimes of the occupation and its settlers against its Jerusalemite residents in a desperate attempt to undermine their steadfastness and resilience. ▪ We mourn the martyr who was assassinated and affirm that the pure blood of the martyrs from which the blessed land of Palestine is nourished will not be shed in vain, and that these crimes will only increase our people's determination to resist and remain steadfast until the occupation is driven out. ▪ We hold the Zionist occupation fully responsible for the repercussions of these crimes and call for more rallying around the resistance and unity in confronting the occupation, which deludes itself into thinking that its brutal crimes will break the will of our proud people. ▪ We call on the people of our nation in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the occupied interior to travel and remain stationed at Al-Aqsa Mosque and to confront with all force the terror of the occupation and its settlers, who understand nothing but the language of force.

Saraya al-Quds:

Saraya al-Quds:

At exactly 3:30 at dawn today, Friday, 04-09-2026, a force from the collaborator militias, supported by the Israeli enemy's drones, advanced toward the al-Qarara area, "al-Gemeeza Street," north of Khan Younis, in an attempt to abduct one of our fighters. Our fighters in the vicinity were able to detect the infiltrating force during the abduction attempt and engaged it with grenades and medium weapons from point-blank range, inflicting a number of casualties, both killed and wounded. The Israeli drone aircraft intervened to help the collaborator force withdraw from the location, and members of the collaborator force executed the abducted fighter, Fadi Ali al-Abadla, by shooting him and leaving him at the scene, while withdrawing with their wounded and dead members. We mourn our martyr fighter, "Fadi Ali Said al-Abadla," one of the fighters of Saraya al-Quds in the al-Qarara Battalion of the Khan Younis Brigade.
