Palestinian Al-Ahrar Movement:

▪ We denounce the occupation’s continued attacks against civilians in the Gaza Strip, and its deliberate attempts to undermine security and stability and spread a state of lawlessness and chaos in a way that threatens citizens’ lives and deepens their suffering amid a suspicious international silence and a clear inability to provide the protection guaranteed by international law for civilians.

▪ We ask: Where is the so-called Peace Council from protecting civilians in Gaza? And where is its role in stopping the occupation’s violations and its client militias and holding it accountable for its crimes? The continued targeting of civilians, terrorizing residents, and striking the foundations of security and stability cannot pass before the international community as if it were a passing matter.

▪ The silence of the Peace Council and the international community in the face of these violations is no longer merely a failure or a neutral position; it has become a political cover for the occupation and gives it a sense of impunity, opening the way for it to continue its crimes, escalate its attacks, and pursue its attempts to spread chaos inside the Gaza Strip.

▪ We affirm that the occupation bears direct responsibility for its crimes and violations, and that the Peace Council and the international community bear political, moral and legal responsibility for their continuation as a result of their silence and inability to take deterrent and effective measures.

▪ We affirm that peace is not achieved by silence over aggression, nor by protecting the aggressor from accountability, nor by leaving civilians prey to chaos and killing. From here, the continuation of this silence effectively turns the council from a peace council into a war council by its silence and sends a dangerous message to the occupation to continue its crimes against our people
