Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov:
▪ It is time to work on establishing a Palestinian state in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
▪ He said that the Security Council adopted, about a year ago, a peace plan concerning the Gaza Strip, but it has not been achieved yet.
▪ The situation in the West Bank is worsening as Israel intensifies its settlement activities.
▪ He warned that the absence of a Palestinian state will leave Israel’s security exposed to a continuing threat.
