Hamas leader Abdul Rahman Shadeed:
▪The storming of the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron by thousands of settlers, accompanied by a number of rabbis and the war criminal, the extremist minister Itamar Ben Gvir, represents a new escalation in the occupation’s war on our holy sites, and a blatant attack on the sanctity of the mosque and the feelings of millions of Muslims.
▪Turning the city of Hebron into a military barracks and imposing a stifling siege on its residents come as a continuation of the occupation’s rampage and its systematic efforts to restrict different areas of the West Bank. We affirm that these policies will not break the will of our steadfast people.
▪The ongoing storming and violations will be fuel for popular anger that is escalating in the arenas of confrontation, and will only increase the Palestinian people’s attachment to their rights and holy sites, and their continuing on the path of resistance.
▪The Ibrahimi Mosque will remain preserving its authentic identity and its firmly rooted Islamic and historical status, and all attempts at desecration and Judaization will not succeed in changing this reality.
▪We call on our people in the West Bank and throughout Hebron Governorate to mobilize, make their way there, maintain a strong presence in the Ibrahimi Mosque, and remain steadfast in it, standing as a solid barrier in the face of the occupation’s plans and its settlers.
▪We call on the masses of our Arab and Islamic nation to mobilize in support of their holy sites, which are desecrated by settler gangs and occupation forces, and we affirm that protecting the holy sites is a duty that falls on the shoulders of the sons of the nation.

Al-Qassam Brigades: ▪With the highest expressions of pride and confidence in God’s near victory, we mourn the great martyr commander/ Izz al-Din Abd al-Aziz al-Bayk "Abu Hamza", member of the general military council of the Al-Qassam Brigades and commander of the northern brigade, who rose to the heavens at dawn on Tuesday, 18 Rabi' al-Thani 1448 AH, corresponding to 29-09-2026, following a cowardly assassination operation, to depart to his Lord as a martyr (killed) after a life full of jihad and giving. ▪Our martyr commanded the first special unit in the northern brigade during the Al-Aqsa Intifada, then took command of the martyr Imad Aql Battalion in 2009, before leading military intelligence in the brigade in 2015, to become one of the commanders of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operations room overseeing the great crossing on October 7, then our martyr mujahid assumed command of the northern brigade in succession to the great commander/ Ahmad al-Ghandour "Abu Anas", to lead the fierce defensive battle fought by the resistance in the North Gaza Brigade in all its rounds, and he stood firm and fought with his mujahid brothers for 107 days during the siege of northern Gaza, which was called the "generals' plan", and which was foiled after God’s grace by the steadfastness of our people and the valor of our fighters. ▪As we mourn today our commander, we are certain of the justice and sanctity of our cause, and that it deserves from us everything precious and valuable. The path that Abu Hamza and his brothers paved with blood is our passage toward victory and liberation. The more the enemy’s crimes and Nazism increase, the more revenge burns in the chests of our young before our elders, and they store it for a day when they will disfigure the faces of the enemies of God and humanity and utterly destroy them, to spare the country and the people from their evils. It is a pledge that blood will not be lost and determination will not weaken, and God prevails in His affairs, but most people do not know.
