Al-Qassam Brigades: ▪With the highest expressions of pride and confidence in God’s near victory, we mourn the great martyr commander/ Izz al-Din Abd al-Aziz al-Bayk "Abu Hamza", member of the general military council of the Al-Qassam Brigades and commander of the northern brigade, who rose to the heavens at dawn on Tuesday, 18 Rabi' al-Thani 1448 AH, corresponding to 29-09-2026, following a cowardly assassination operation, to depart to his Lord as a martyr (killed) after a life full of jihad and giving. ▪Our martyr commanded the first special unit in the northern brigade during the Al-Aqsa Intifada, then took command of the martyr Imad Aql Battalion in 2009, before leading military intelligence in the brigade in 2015, to become one of the commanders of the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operations room overseeing the great crossing on October 7, then our martyr mujahid assumed command of the northern brigade in succession to the great commander/ Ahmad al-Ghandour "Abu Anas", to lead the fierce defensive battle fought by the resistance in the North Gaza Brigade in all its rounds, and he stood firm and fought with his mujahid brothers for 107 days during the siege of northern Gaza, which was called the "generals' plan", and which was foiled after God’s grace by the steadfastness of our people and the valor of our fighters. ▪As we mourn today our commander, we are certain of the justice and sanctity of our cause, and that it deserves from us everything precious and valuable. The path that Abu Hamza and his brothers paved with blood is our passage toward victory and liberation. The more the enemy’s crimes and Nazism increase, the more revenge burns in the chests of our young before our elders, and they store it for a day when they will disfigure the faces of the enemies of God and humanity and utterly destroy them, to spare the country and the people from their evils. It is a pledge that blood will not be lost and determination will not weaken, and God prevails in His affairs, but most people do not know.
