Palestinian Ministry of Health - Gaza:

▪We deny the occupation's claims regarding hospitals and health facilities, and affirm the continued medical genocide in the Gaza Strip, and that recycling these imaginary pretexts is merely false justifications to cover the Israeli war machine and pave the way for destroying what remains of the health sector's capabilities.

▪These claims are misleading and are being repeated clearly amid the continued aggression for the third year, with the targeting of the health system in the Gaza Strip and the destruction of most hospitals and putting them out of service, and the elimination of the health capabilities that were invested over decades.

▪These pretexts at this time are considered an attempt to create media cover and flimsy pretexts for the Israeli war machine, in preparation for undermining what remains of the health system and attacking the remaining hospitals and medical centers.

▪What is present inside the hospitals and medical centers operating today are wounded and patients fighting death, and medical and humanitarian cadres working under extremely harsh exceptional conditions to provide the minimum medical care services amid a severe shortage of medicines and health care requirements.

▪The stifling siege, preventing the entry of medicine and medical supplies, and obstructing the travel of thousands of wounded and patients to receive treatment abroad, has not been enough; it insists on continuing to pursue health care even in its last remaining sanctuaries.

▪We affirm that the doors of all hospitals and health facilities are open to international organizations and UN, rights and humanitarian institutions to enter and inspect the nature of the work and verify the claims, and these facilities bear nothing but the pains of our people's sons and the message of our humanitarian cadres.

▪We call on the international community, UN, rights and all free people of the world to urgently and immediately intervene to curb the Israeli destruction machine and provide effective international protection for medical cadres and institutions, and to stop the policy of systematic disinformation that legalizes the shedding of the blood of the wounded and medical cadres inside what remains of the places of treatment.
