Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas:

▪ We are following the dangerous criminal incitement campaign launched by the occupation against hospitals in the Gaza Strip, and the fabrications it is promoting against them. In this context, we affirm the following:

▪ The incitement by the occupation army against what remains of hospitals operating in a limited capacity in the Gaza Strip, after most hospitals and medical centers were targeted and destroyed, constitutes a war crime in clear terms and an extension of the ongoing war of extermination, despite the signing of a ceasefire agreement in Sharm el-Sheikh one year ago under international sponsorship.

▪ The allegations and claims promoted by the occupation against hospitals in the Strip are nothing but lies and fabrications, which it has previously used in the context of systematic destruction campaigns against the civilian infrastructure in Gaza Strip, foremost among them hospitals, which indicates serious intentions by the occupation to repeat its brutal crimes.

▪ This criminal incitement comes amid catastrophic conditions in which the remaining hospitals in Gaza Strip are operating, as a result of the targeting, the suffocating siege, and the occupation's prevention of the entry of equipment and necessary supplies, and their overcrowding with patients and wounded.

▪ We reiterate that the occupation's claims that the movement or any faction is using hospitals for any purpose are false, and we call on the World Health Organization, the international press, and the media to enter the Gaza Strip. We also call for the تشكيل of UN committees to inspect the hospitals and refute the occupation's lies.

▪ This renewed crime requires the mediators and the US administration, which sponsors the ceasefire agreement, to intervene immediately to curb the occupation and condemn it, and to rein in its aggressive behavior and intentions. The international community and the United Nations and its institutions must also move to protect the hospitals, break the siege on them, rebuild them, and bring in the necessary and life-saving medical supplies.
