Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas:

▪The escalation of settlers’ terrorism and the attacks by the occupation forces in the West Bank, and the accompanying targeting of farmers and olive pickers, the burning of vehicles, the seizure of property, raids on homes, and the arrest of citizens, comes in the context of a systematic assault sponsored by Netanyahu’s terrorist government and carried out by settlers under the protection of the occupation army, in an attempt to impose a reality of annexation, displacement, and control over the West Bank.

▪The occupation’s and Netanyahu’s government’s bets on subjugating our people through terrorism, killing, arrest, and displacement will fail; our people, rooted in their land and committed to their rights, will not be intimidated by the crimes of the occupation and their will shall not be broken, and they will continue their struggle and legitimate resistance until they achieve their freedom and defeat the occupation.

▪We warn against the consequences of the continued crimes of the occupation and the terrorism of its settlers, and call on the international community, UN institutions, and free people of the world to assume their responsibilities and turn positions of condemnation into practical steps to hold the criminal leaders of the occupation accountable, and to put an end to the attacks by settlers on our people, our land, and our holy sites.

▪We call for strengthening our people’s steadfastness, especially with the start of the olive harvest season, with its national symbolism that embodies rootedness in the land and adherence to rights, and for expanding field support for farmers, confronting settlers’ attacks against them and their property, and providing them with the necessary support in facing these crimes.
