Gaza Ministry of Health:
▪So far, no patient or wounded person has been informed of travel for tomorrow, Sunday, as the complete paralysis of the departure of emergency cases continues for no clear reasons.
▪The scheduling of the evacuation of approved medical cases is limited to only three days per week (Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday), but last week did not witness the departure of any patient or wounded person at all.
▪Delaying the evacuation of patients and wounded persons is not merely a logistical obstacle, but rather a deliberate and systematic deterioration of the patient's health and physical condition, which turns treatable illness cases into "delayed death" cases and doubles the humanitarian toll resulting from the closure of the crossings.
▪We call on the UN and international institutions and the relevant parties to urgently intervene to pressure for the opening of the crossing and ensure the resumption of the movement of patients and wounded persons' evacuation according to a regular and sustainable mechanism.
