The Gaza Strip recorded 16,998 new births, alongside 915 deaths, during the third quarter of 2026.

The number of male births reached 8,766, representing 51.57% of total births, compared with 8,232 female births, representing 48.43%.

6,133 new births in Gaza City and 3,016 births in Khan Younis.

3,268 births in the north of the Strip, 2,391 births in the central Strip and 2,190 new births in Rafah.

915 deaths during the third quarter of 2026.

Male deaths numbered 676, or 73.88% of total deaths, compared with 239 deaths among females, or 26.12%.

5,690 births and 514 deaths during July, 5,493 births and 203 deaths during August, and 5,815 births and 198 deaths during last September.
