Ministry of Education:

▪We warn of the escalating targeting of students and children in the Gaza Strip, after the number of children who were martyred in the recent attacks rose to five, including the child Majd Muhammad Fakhri Hassan (15 years old).

▪We call on the United Nations, UNICEF, and international institutions to take urgent and effective action to protect students, document the attacks, investigate them, hold those responsible accountable, and ensure the safe arrival of children to their schools. We affirm that the right to education is inseparable from the right to life.
