Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas:

▪The decision of the extremist minister Itamar Ben Gvir to annex 11 settlements in the occupied West Bank to the areas eligible to obtain weapons-carrying permits, represents an extension of the occupation’s policy based on killing and terrorism, arming settlers and giving them free rein to attack the members of our Palestinian people, and constitutes an explicit call for killing and displacement, and an additional cover for committing more crimes against citizens, their land and property.

▪This decision once again proves the state of integration between the terrorist occupation government and settler gangs in targeting our people.

▪We warn against the continuation of the occupation’s approach based on killing and crimes, and we affirm that these decisions will not succeed in breaking the will of our people and their steadfastness, or stopping the tide of resistance and confrontation.

▪We call on the members of our people in the valiant West Bank to unite all national and popular efforts, and activate all tools of resistance to confront the occupation’s crimes and thwart the plans of annexation, displacement and settlement.

▪We call on the international community, the United Nations and its institutions to assume their responsibilities toward the occupation’s systematic approach, and to move urgently to stop arming settlers and their crimes against our people, hold the occupation’s leaders accountable for their incitement and support for settler terrorism, and stop the ongoing attacks against our people and our land.
