Government Media Office: ▪ The occupation army committed today a new crime and a horrific massacre that targeted a group of civilian employees in the public sector, and this massacre occurred after a treacherous shelling targeted a work area التابعة to the Ministry of Economy in the Al-Mawasi area "south of the Gaza Strip," an area crowded with civilians, which confirms the occupation's deliberate intent to inflict the largest possible number of casualties and create a compounded humanitarian crisis. ▪ These civilian employees were targeted while carrying out their normal work and performing their professional and job duties in inspecting goods, verifying their suitability, and preventing the smuggling of drugs and illegal materials to protect our society and our Palestinian people. ▪ We affirm that targeting government teams and civilian public employees is an inseparable part of the organized crime practiced by the occupation and a malicious and exposed attempt to push toward chaos and lawlessness by undermining the work of government teams and institutions that seek to maintain the stability and safety of society. ▪ This heinous massacre resulted in 4 martyrs (killed), and more than 30 wounded, including more than 6 cases in a critical health condition. ▪ We mourn with greater pride and honor the martyrs (killed) of national duty among the government employees, namely: 1. Martyr/ Hamaam Jabr Abu Labda 2. Martyr/ Mahmoud Sobhi Abu Naama 3. Martyr/ Mohammed Hamad Al-Sultan 4. Martyr/ Wissam Ezzat Adwan ▪ We condemn in the strongest terms this horrific massacre that targeted civilian government teams performing purely service roles. ▪ We hold the occupation and the الدول الداعمة له fully responsible for this crime and for the continuation of the campaign of genocide against the sons of our Palestinian people. ▪ We call on the mediators and the countries sponsoring the agreement to urgently intervene to stop the ongoing crimes of the occupation, which have not stopped for a single day. ▪ We call on the National Committee for Gaza Administration to take a decisive stance to stand with the government employees, protect them, and ensure that they continue to carry out their noble role and fulfill their duty toward the sons of our people.
