Gaza Health Ministry: The Medical Transfers Committee continues, with all its teams, to carry out its field and administrative duties to follow up on the implementation of medical and logistical procedures for patients and wounded people in the Gaza Strip and to ensure the completion of all files related to their referral for treatment abroad, according to the highest degrees of responsibility.

Gaza Health Ministry: ▪ The Medical Transfers Committee continues, with all its teams, to carry out its field and administrative duties to follow up on the implementation of medical and logistical procedures for patients and wounded people in the Gaza Strip and to ensure the completion of all files related to their referral for treatment abroad, according to the highest degrees of responsibility. ▪ The total number of patients and wounded people who were evacuated for treatment abroad since February until today is (3056), including (2614) through the Rafah crossing and (442) through the Kerem Abu Salem crossing. ▪ The number of patients and wounded people who are in urgent need of travel and are registered on waiting lists is about (21,468) cases, including (6430) cases eligible and prioritized for travel. ▪ The successive and sudden closures of the crossings and the deliberate slowness in procedures have turned the medical transfers file from a humanitarian rescue path into a deadly obstacle, which has caused a serious deterioration in the health conditions of thousands of wounded and patients and the loss of dozens of their lives while they were waiting to be allowed to travel. ▪ We renew the call to open the Rafah land crossing to the travel movement of patients and wounded people and facilitate their departure without restrictions or administrative complications, and to urgently increase the daily numbers allowed to travel, to absorb the accumulated numbers on the waiting lists.
