Gaza & Palestine
Islamic Resistance Movement- Hamas:
▪We warn against the escalating war crimes committed by the occupation government and its army, and against the consequences of its announcement of a large-scale military operation in Shuafat camp and the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, accompanied by a tight siege, closure of entrances, bulldozing of infrastructure, and mass arrests among citizens. ▪Jerusalem, its towns and camps will remain purely Palestinian, and the occupation’s attempts to isolate it, Judaize it and impose its control over it will break against the steadfastness of its people, their will and their steadfastness on their land, and the occupation’s war machine will not succeed in passing its schemes and settlement projects; our people will remain steadfast and committed to their land and rights, until the aggression is repelled and the occupation ends. ▪We call on countries of the world, officially and popularly, to take broad and effective action to pressure the occupation to stop its aggression, hold its leaders accountable for their crimes, and provide all forms of support and backing to our people in confronting the occupation’s escalating aggression.

▪The occupation is pursuing a policy of "silent starvation" and engineering starvation in the Gaza Strip. ▪65% of the required food quantity is being prevented from entering, and what does enter does not exceed 35% of what was agreed upon. ▪More than 95% of citizens rely entirely on aid. ▪More than 90% have lost their purchasing power and are unable to buy food. ▪Over 330 days, 69,387 aid trucks entered out of 198,000 agreed upon. ▪We hold the occupation and those supporting it responsible for the starvation. ▪We call on the international community, the Security Council, and the mediators to exert immediate pressure to bring in aid and ensure the flow of food.

Palestinian Ministry of Health - Gaza:
▪Physical therapy and medical rehabilitation services in Gaza have become a critical lifeline and the first line of defense in preventing permanent disabilities among thousands of wounded and injured people. ▪The genocidal war on the Gaza Strip has left an unprecedented humanitarian and health catastrophe, leading to a massive rise in the number of wounded, especially cases of double amputations and complex limb salvage, with about 5,000 amputation cases and 300 cases of neurological and spinal cord injuries. ▪About 10,000 cases need intensive and long-term rehabilitation. ▪The direct targeting of health institutions and the forced shutdown of most rehabilitation centers has left thousands of patients and injured people facing the risk of complications due to the severe shortage of medical supplies and prosthetic limbs and restrictions on travel for treatment abroad. ▪We call on international organizations and UN bodies to urgently coordinate and intervene to bring in rehabilitation supplies and devices and prosthetic limbs. ▪We stress the need to open the crossings to facilitate the travel of critical cases that need advanced rehabilitation centers and prosthetic limb implantation using high technologies. ▪We extend greetings and appreciation to the physical therapy and medical rehabilitation staff in the Gaza Strip, who have continued to carry out their mission under the harshest conditions. ▪The determination of physical therapy specialists to work under bombardment and harsh conditions represents a bright image of humanity and national duty. ▪Supporting physical therapy staff and providing the means for them to work is an ethical and humanitarian matter that cannot be delayed.
