▪The occupation’s killing today of the child Wafaa Aqila in shelling by its aircraft, while she was leaving the place where she was receiving lessons on the first day of the school year, is a compound crime that confirms the continuation of the war of extermination against our people in Gaza, including children and women. ▪The silence of the Peace Council and its director Miladnov can only be understood as complicity in these crimes, and an inability to compel the occupation to abide by any of the agreements that were reached. ▪We call on the Arab and Islamic countries participating in the Peace Council to take a clear and practical stance against these crimes, and to expose the Israeli position that is manipulating the Peace Council and its decisions.
