Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: We mourn the martyrs Ashraf Dahlan, Shadi Abu Atiya and Sami Baroud, employees of the Islamic University security staff Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: ▪We mourn the martyrs Ashraf Dahlan, Shadi Abu Atiya and Sami Baroud, employees of the Islamic University security staff, who were killed while on duty, and extend our deepest condolences to their families, the university administration, and their female and male colleagues. ▪The Israeli occupation’s targeting of the university with two airstrikes, coinciding with the start of regular in-person classes, represents an attack on efforts toward social recovery in the Gaza Strip, the restoration of its educational and national institutions, and the resumption of the educational process. ▪We call on academic and educational institutions around the world to stand in solidarity with the universities of the Gaza Strip, which are facing a systematic Israeli targeting that affects educational institutions and the conditions for their continuity, as part of the comprehensive war of extermination on the Palestinian presence in the Strip. ▪We call on free people of the world to escalate solidarity action and pressure governments to take serious positions and measures that put an end to the occupation’s crimes, the war of extermination, and the plans of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.Palestinian Resistance Committees: The ongoing Zionist escalation in the Gaza Strip and the criminal shelling that targeted the Islamic University in Gaza City and led to the martyrdom of three of its guards constitute a new crime added to the bloody record of the occupation and once again reveal its disregard for the lives of our Palestinian people and its flouting of all agreements, understandings, and efforts aimed at consolidating the calm and stopping the aggression. Palestinian Resistance Committees: ▪The ongoing Zionist escalation in the Gaza Strip and the criminal shelling that targeted the Islamic University in Gaza City and led to the martyrdom of three of its guards constitute a new crime added to the bloody record of the occupation and once again reveal its disregard for the lives of our Palestinian people and its flouting of all agreements, understandings, and efforts aimed at consolidating the calm and stopping the aggression. ▪The occupation's continued crimes and violations reflect its insistence on continuing the aggression and evading its obligations, benefiting from the absence of international accountability and scrutiny. ▪We hold the Zionist enemy and the so-called Peace Council fully responsible for this crime and its consequences, and we place the mediators and guarantor parties before their direct responsibilities to move urgently and seriously to compel it to stop its aggression, respect its commitments, and take practical steps that would prevent the continued attacks on our people, their property, and their civilian facilities. ▪We call on the free people of the world, free peoples, and human rights and humanitarian institutions to escalate peaceful popular, legal, and media actions and expose the occupation's crimes and exercise real international pressure to hold those responsible for them accountable. ▪The blood of our martyrs will not be passing numbers, and the rights of our Palestinian people will not fall through silence or neglect, and the occupation's ongoing crimes will not grant any legitimacy to its aggression.Martyr Sami Baroud, who was killed as a result of shelling targeting a group of security personnel at the Islamic University inside the campus of the Islamic University in Gaza City

▪ During the thwarting of an attempted kidnapping of a central figure on 1 September 2026, three agents of the occupation, including a woman, were arrested. ▪ The seized materials revealed that the arrested occupation agents were posing as a international relief institution to facilitate movement in the area and gather information. ▪ According to the agents' statements and preliminary investigations, the special force arrived at the scene of the operation only a few hours before its exposure and had no prior presence at the location. ▪ One of the agents stated that the clash with the kidnapped officer Muin al-Arabid exposed the special force, causing a state of panic and confusion among its members, which prompted the operation commander to call for help and evacuate the force immediately.

Hamas:

▪ In the framework of contacts and consultations regarding political and national developments on the Palestinian scene, the movement’s Political Bureau member Husam Badran held a phone call with the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Ahrar Movement, Hasan Mahmoud Abu Hulima, during which they discussed a number of national files and issues, foremost among them the latest political and security developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, in light of the ongoing Zionist assaults on the Palestinian people, in addition to current developments, especially preparations related to holding the Legislative Council and National Council elections in the coming stage. ▪ The two sides addressed the importance of broadening the base of political participation and allowing various national forces, factions, and figures to take part in the electoral process, in a way that enhances Palestinian political representation. ▪ The consultations extended to the Palestinian National Council elections and the mechanisms for participation in them, with emphasis on the importance of the participation of various Palestinian political and societal forces and components in these elections, in a way that ensures broader representation in national representative institutions, and rejects the principle of appointment. ▪ Badran and Abu Hulima discussed the process of forming the Palestinian National Alliance, as a framework that may bring together various national forces, factions, and figures, allowing coordination of positions and efforts regarding the electoral entitlements and the national issues on the table, and enhancing consultation among the different parties regarding the coming stage. ▪ These consultations come in the context of seeking broader formulas for participation and coordination among Palestinian forces, especially in light of the political and electoral entitlements on the table, as the two sides emphasized the importance of continuing communication with various forces, factions, and national figures, and working to bring viewpoints closer on issues of common interest. ▪ The two sides agreed to continue communication and consultation during the coming period and intensify dialogue with various Palestinian forces, contributing to reaching understandings and common formulas regarding the issues raised.
