Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: We mourn comrade and activist Imad Muhammad Zayed Fares Jaber "Abu Muhammad", secretary of the Palestinian Liberation Front in northern Gaza and its representative in the Committee of National and Islamic Forces, who was martyred following a treacherous Zionist shelling that targeted him after years of national and activist work during which he devoted his effort to his people, his cause and his national rights.
Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: ▪We mourn comrade and activist Imad Muhammad Zayed Fares Jaber "Abu Muhammad", secretary of the Palestinian Liberation Front in northern Gaza and its representative in the Committee of National and Islamic Forces, who was martyred following a treacherous Zionist shelling that targeted him after years of national and activist work during which he devoted his effort to his people, his cause and his national rights. ▪With his passing, the Palestinian national movement lost an activist who carried his national responsibilities with sincerity and contributed to consolidating joint work between forces and factions, stemming from his belief in the importance of national consensus and unifying efforts in confronting the occupation and its projects aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause and undermining the will of our people. ▪Comrade Abu Muhammad in northern Gaza embodied his attachment to the land and his rejection of displacement and uprooting schemes, and remained loyal to his people and national causes despite the war of extermination, siege and destruction. ▪Targeting national cadres will not deter our people from continuing their struggle. ▪We affirm that strengthening national unity and consolidating joint work constitute a necessity to confront the aggression and foil the occupation's schemes and safeguard our people's rights. ▪We extend our deepest condolences to the comrades of the martyr in the Palestinian Liberation Front, to his family, relatives and loved ones, and to his comrades in the path of national work. ▪His memory will remain present in the conscience of the Palestinian national movement, and the sacrifices of the activists will remain an authentic part of our people's history and their struggle to wrest their legitimate rights.
