Government Media Office: ▪The number of journalist martyrs killed by the Israeli occupation has risen to 263 journalists after the announcement of the martyrdom of journalist Mohammed Abdel Aziz Al-Najjar. ▪The number of journalist martyrs has risen to (263 journalist martyrs) since the beginning of the war of genocide on the Gaza Strip, following the announcement of the martyrdom of one journalist: ▪The martyred journalist Mohammed Abdel Aziz Al-Najjar, who worked as a media worker and presenter at Radio Al-Quran Al-Karim التابعة to the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs. ▪We strongly condemn the Israeli occupation’s systematic targeting, killing and assassination of Palestinian journalists, and we call on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists Union, and all press bodies in all countries of the world to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media workers in the Gaza Strip. ▪We hold the Israeli occupation and the countries participating in the crime of genocide fully responsible for committing these heinous and brutal crimes. ▪We call on the international community, international organizations and organizations related to journalistic and media work in all countries of the world to condemn the occupation’s crimes, deter it and pursue it in international courts for its ongoing crimes and bring the occupation’s criminals to justice. We also call on them to exert serious and effective pressure to stop the crime of genocide, to protect journalists and media workers in the Gaza Strip, and to stop the crime of killing and assassinating them.
