Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: ▪We mourn the martyrs Ashraf Dahlan, Shadi Abu Atiya and Sami Baroud, employees of the Islamic University security staff, who were killed while on duty, and extend our deepest condolences to their families, the university administration, and their female and male colleagues. ▪The Israeli occupation’s targeting of the university with two airstrikes, coinciding with the start of regular in-person classes, represents an attack on efforts toward social recovery in the Gaza Strip, the restoration of its educational and national institutions, and the resumption of the educational process. ▪We call on academic and educational institutions around the world to stand in solidarity with the universities of the Gaza Strip, which are facing a systematic Israeli targeting that affects educational institutions and the conditions for their continuity, as part of the comprehensive war of extermination on the Palestinian presence in the Strip. ▪We call on free people of the world to escalate solidarity action and pressure governments to take serious positions and measures that put an end to the occupation’s crimes, the war of extermination, and the plans of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza will announce tomorrow a state of emergency and the suspension of vital services because of the ongoing blockade on the health sector, especially the shortage of medicines and fuel to operate electricity generators and ambulances, which threatens the lives of thousands of citizens, in addition to the suffering of tens of thousands of wounded people from the lack of real treatment opportunities.
Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas:
▪The world followed with deep anger what the documentary film “NAZA” (NAZA), shown at the Venice International Film Festival, revealed through direct testimonies from 24 intelligence personnel and officers in the Israeli army, about targeting and bombing mechanisms in the Gaza Strip, and the serious admissions it contained regarding the killing of Palestinian civilians. ▪The importance of these testimonies stems from the fact that they came from people who worked inside the Israeli military and security establishment and participated in surveillance and targeting systems, and from what they revealed about the use of the term “NAZA” to refer to “civilians expected to be killed” in attacks, and about remote bombing systems and methods; this requires an independent and serious international investigation, and for these testimonies to be documented within investigations related to war crimes and ethnic cleansing committed against civilians in the Gaza Strip. ▪The wide international reaction the film received at the Venice Festival, and the continuous standing ovation for 25 minutes, reflect the great impact these testimonies had, and the importance of the role of journalism and documentary cinema in revealing the truth and breaking attempts at denial and Israeli disinformation, and the importance of these investigations in conveying the suffering of the victims to global public opinion. ▪We call on the International Criminal Court, the UN bodies, and the relevant human rights institutions to document the testimonies and information included in the film, and to use them in investigation and accountability processes, and to affirm the war of extermination and ethnic cleansing crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army, and to take effective steps to protect Palestinian civilians and stop 70 the violations against them. ▪What “NAZA” revealed should not remain merely material for viewing and sympathy, but should become an additional impetus for investigation and accountability, for justice for the victims, and for ensuring that those responsible for war crimes, genocide, and violations do not escape accountability.
