▪All citizens, merchants, and owners of shops and commercial centers in the Gaza Strip are required to use banknotes that are fit for circulation in all their types, new or old, provided that they are not damaged.
▪We confirm that the General Investigation Department of the police will begin its duties to monitor compliance with this in all areas of the Gaza Strip, and that strict legal measures will be taken against violators.
▪We call on all merchants and business owners to prioritize the national interest and not contribute to creating crises that would further burden citizens.
▪We call on citizens to report violators by calling the central operations toll-free number (109) or by informing the nearest police station.
