Gaza Municipality: Important notice regarding the worsening water crisis in the city
Gaza Municipality:
▪Important notice regarding the worsening water crisis in the city
▪We confirm that the water crisis currently being experienced in the city is due to the continued outage of the ‘Mekorot’ water line feeding the city from within for about a week, in the area of Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza, which led to a significant decrease in the amounts of water reaching a number of areas of the city.
▪We continue our efforts in coordination with the relevant authorities and work on maintaining the line and repairing the damage it sustained in preparation for resuming the pumping of water and restoring its supplies to the affected areas as soon as possible.
