Municipality of Gaza: Important notice regarding the worsening water crisis in the city
Municipality of Gaza:
▪Important notice regarding the worsening water crisis in the city
▪We confirm that the water crisis currently being experienced in the city is due to the continued malfunction of the Mekorot water line feeding the city from within for about a week, in the neighborhood of al-Shuja'iya east of Gaza, which has led to a significant decrease in the amounts of water reaching a number of areas in the city.
▪We continue our efforts in coordination with the relevant authorities and are working on maintaining the line and repairing the damage it suffered in preparation for resuming water pumping and restoring supplies to the affected areas as soon as possible.
