Hamas:

▪A Hamas leadership delegation met with brothers from the factions of the Islamic Jihad Movement, the Democratic Reform Current in Fatah, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Palestinian Freedom Movement, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, the Popular Resistance Committees in Palestine, and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine. It discussed with them developments in the Palestinian issue, especially the file of the legislative elections and the Palestinian National Council, and ways to strengthen national unity. ▪We affirm our Palestinian people's right to defend themselves, their land and their holy sites, and to uphold their rights and national constants. ▪We stress the right of Palestinians to elect their representatives freely, fairly and transparently in the Legislative Council and the National Council, and to reject appointment, exclusion and monopoly. ▪We agreed to continue consultation and coordination among the various Palestinian factions, forces and national figures, and to work to end the division and rebuild and activate the Palestine Liberation Organization on democratic, participatory and national bases, alongside formulating a unified national strategy to confront the occupation, settlement, Judaization, displacement and annexation, end the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, and strengthen the resilience of the Palestinian people.

Wafa Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation and Specialized Surgery in Gaza Administration:

▪ Temporary suspension of work in a number of basic services at the hospital, including outpatient clinics, surgical operations, outpatient physical therapy, outpatient occupational therapy, speech services, and outpatient swallowing problems. ▪ We warn of an operational and humanitarian crisis that has reached a very dangerous stage and has become threatening to the hospital's ability to continue providing its medical and rehabilitation services to patients, wounded people, and persons with disabilities. ▪ The hospital is considered one of the most important treatment and rehabilitation institutions in the Gaza Strip and provides medical, rehabilitation, and specialized services to thousands of citizens and wounded people, and receives monthly large numbers of patients and visitors, many of whom depend on the continuity of these services. ▪ We are currently facing a severe shortage of diesel and fuel necessary to operate generators and vehicles, along with increasing difficulties in providing oils, tires, spare parts, and essential maintenance supplies needed to continue operating vehicles, equipment, and basic services. ▪ In light of these circumstances, we were forced to temporarily suspend a number of outpatient services and surgical operations in an attempt to preserve the remaining available resources and direct them toward inpatient services and essential medical services that cannot be dispensed with. ▪ We make an urgent appeal to the World Health Organization, the United Nations, and all health, humanitarian, and supporting institutions to intervene immediately and help provide fuel, oils, spare parts, and urgent operational needs, enabling the hospital to restore its suspended services and ensure the continuity of basic services for patients and wounded people. ▪ The continuation of this crisis without urgent intervention may lead to further reductions in services and threatens the hospital's ability to continue carrying out its medical and humanitarian mission at a time when the need for treatment and rehabilitation services in the Gaza Strip is increasing. ▪ We hope that this appeal reaches all concerned parties and is translated into an urgent intervention that ensures the continued service of this health institution to patients, wounded people, and persons with disabilities.

Zakaria Bakr:

▪ The situation in the sea of Gaza is very dangerous, with a heavy presence of warboats and artillery shells being fired toward the shore. ▪ The shelling hit coastal areas and resulted in the injury of a child inside one of the displacement tents on the northern beach. ▪ No fisherman has yet been able to reach his nets, which he set up yesterday and pulled from the sea, because of the danger of the situation and the ongoing targeting. ▪ The fisherman goes into the sea in search of a livelihood for his family, only to find himself facing the danger of shelling, arrest, and death, and even his nets have become stuck in a sea that is no longer safe. ▪ The sea of Gaza is not only a battlefield but also the livelihood of thousands of fishermen, and the right to access it and work in it should not be turned into a crime.

Palestinian lawyer and human rights defender Raja Sourani:

▪ What is happening in Gaza cannot be separated from its historical context and the siege imposed on it since 2006. ▪ Palestinians have been subjected over the past years to a series of wars and violations that preceded October 7, 2023. ▪ The continued violations in Gaza require activating international law, holding those responsible accountable, protecting civilians, and applying the rules of international law away from political calculations. ▪ The Convention on the Prevention of Genocide obliges states to prevent it, and the situation in Gaza places the international community before a legal and moral responsibility. ▪ The latest war caused widespread destruction and deterioration in food, water, and medicine, as well as the displacement of large numbers of people, and these facts require investigation and accountability. ▪ Providing political cover for violations obstructs accountability, and international judicial institutions must be able to carry out their duties independently. ▪ The destruction of civilian facilities, the targeting of the health sector, and depriving the population of basic needs raise serious legal issues. ▪ The existence of the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice provides frameworks for investigation and accountability, and judicial proceedings must continue away from political pressure. ▪ International law should not be applied selectively, and civilians' rights must receive protection in different parts of the world. ▪ Achieving justice may take years, but that does not justify abandoning the legal path, documenting violations, and preserving evidence. ▪ The Hrant Dink International Award for 2026 is not a personal matter, but rather a message of support for the Palestinian rights community and for the victims. ▪ The essence of the issue is ensuring dignity and justice, applying international law, and activating accountability mechanisms.
