Jabalia al-Nazla Municipality: We call on international institutions and the relevant authorities to urgently intervene to operate the Safatawi basin pump, which has become the largest rainwater and sewage collection pool in northern Gaza Strip, to avert a humanitarian and environmental disaster during the winter season.
Jabalia al-Nazla Municipality: ▪ We call on international institutions and the relevant authorities to urgently intervene to operate the Safatawi basin pump, which has become the largest rainwater and sewage collection pool in northern Gaza Strip, to avert a humanitarian and environmental disaster during the winter season. ▪ The destruction of infrastructure and the "Abu Rashid" pool - which was considered the largest rainwater collection pool - forced the municipality to temporarily divert rainwater and sewage to the Safatawi pool. ▪ The current pool serves wide areas including al-Nazla and Safatawi, and also receives water from the Bir al-Na'ajah area in Jabalia camp and the Aslan area in Beit Lahia. ▪ The توقف operations of pumping and the stagnation of water in the basin pose a direct danger to the lives of thousands of citizens and displaced people residing in dilapidated tents and destroyed homes, warning that rainfall may lead to the flooding of the entire area and cause a humanitarian disaster that could reach the point of death. ▪ The pump needs a 200 KVA electric generator to operate it and pump the stagnant water in it, calling on international and humanitarian institutions, led by UNICEF, the Palestinian Water Authority, and Coastal Municipal Water Utility, to respond quickly to ensure the operation of the pump and avert the expected disaster.

Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas: We express our strong condemnation of what the statement included of renewing false narratives that the criminal enemy attempted
Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas: ▪We express our strong condemnation of what the statement included of renewing false narratives that the criminal enemy attempted, and promoted by all means, and whose falsehood was proven by human rights reports, investigative journalistic inquiries, and repeated confessions, especially the claims related to targeting civilians, sexual assaults, and mistreatment of prisoners held by the resistance. ▪What was stated in the statement represents a deplorable adoption of the false and misleading Zionist narrative, and a taking of events out of their historical context. It also ignores decades of occupation, siege, massacres, and violations against our people, their land, their holy sites, and their prisoners, and strips our oppressed people, under a fascist occupation, of their right to defend themselves and resist the occupation in accordance with what was established by heavenly laws and international laws. ▪We condemn the softened language used by the statement to describe the war of extermination launched by the government of war criminal Netanyahu, wanted by the International Criminal Court, against our unarmed people, and the massacres committed during it against children, women, and the elderly, and the systematic destruction of cities and civil infrastructure protected under international law. We affirm that this language will not change the reality of these brutal crimes, which the modern era has not known the like of. ▪We reject the fabrications contained in this statement, and we call on the Secretary-General of the United Nations to retract them. We affirm the ضرورة of the United Nations and its institutions fulfilling their responsibilities in ending the occupation, stopping the ongoing aggression against our people, urgently intervening to relieve more than two million besieged people in the Gaza Strip, and moving to hold the leaders of the occupation, war criminals, accountable before international courts for their crimes against humanity.
