Gaza Ministry of Health: This comes as the health system in Gaza continues to suffer ongoing suffering for three years as a result of the systematic medical genocide

Gaza Ministry of Health: ▪This comes as the health system in Gaza continues to suffer ongoing suffering for three years as a result of the systematic medical genocide, while the Israeli occupation, through its spokesmen, continues to make false and misleading claims alleging the presence of armed men or the storage of weapons inside hospitals and health facilities. ▪We affirm the denial of these repeated fabrications in full, and note that recycling these worn-out pretexts is nothing but the manufacture of false justifications aimed at covering up the Israeli war machine and paving the way to continue undermining what remains of the health components and destroying them. ▪These misleading claims, repeated openly, come as the aggression enters its third consecutive year of systematic medical genocide and direct targeting of the health system in the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the destruction of most hospitals, putting them out of service, and has eliminated the health capabilities that were built over decades. In this context, we emphasize the following: ▪Recycling these pretexts at this time is nothing but an open attempt to create media cover and flimsy justifications for the Israeli war machine, in preparation for continuing to undermine what remains of the health system and attacking what remains of hospitals and medical centers. ▪What exists inside the hospitals and medical centers operating today is nothing but wounded and sick people struggling with death, and medical and humanitarian staff working with the most basic resources and capabilities and under extremely harsh exceptional conditions to provide the minimum medical care amid a severe shortage of medicines and requirements for providing health care. ▪The Israeli occupation has not only sufficed itself with the suffocating siege, preventing the entry of medicine and medical supplies, and obstructing the travel of thousands of wounded and sick people to receive treatment abroad, but it also insists on continuing to pursue health care even in its last remaining refuges. ▪We reaffirm in full that the doors of all hospitals and health facilities have been, and remain, open without exception to all international organizations and UN, human rights and humanitarian institutions to enter and closely examine the nature of work inside them and verify these false claims, and the constant evidence that these facilities carry nothing but the pain of our people's sons and daughters and the message of our humanitarian staff. ▪We call on the international community, UN and human rights institutions, and all free people of the world to intervene urgently and immediately to restrain the Israeli machine of destruction and provide effective and direct international protection for medical staff and institutions and to stop the policy of systematic disinformation that legalizes the shedding of the blood of the wounded and medical staff inside what remains of treatment places.

Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah: The Palestinian people remain steadfast and resilient in the face of the Zionist-American aggression and committed to their historical rights in Palestine.

Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah: ▪The Palestinian people remain steadfast and resilient in the face of the Zionist-American aggression and committed to their historical rights in Palestine. ▪This year is the year of steadfastness and resilience for our people in the face of the Zionist attack and its allies to liquidate our Palestinian cause. ▪More than 80,000 martyrs (killed) and 200,000 wounded and disabled, and the occupation's aggression is still ongoing. ▪Despite dozens of initiatives to stop the fire and the release by the resistance of the enemy's prisoners, the occupation is still raising the banner of killing and displacing our people from Gaza.

Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor: After eight months since the establishment of the Peace Council to oversee the recovery of the Gaza Strip, we review its achievements since its launch in January.

Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor: ▪After eight months since the establishment of the Peace Council to oversee the recovery of the Gaza Strip, we review its achievements since its launch in January. ▪Genocide: The UN fact-finding commission indicated that there is strong evidence that Israel continues to commit genocide in Gaza, according to its investigation into crimes against Palestinian children in the occupied Palestinian territories between 7 October 2023 and 31 March 2026, and that the council did not stop it. ▪Protection of civilians: When the council’s mandate began on 22 January, the number of killed in Gaza since the ceasefire stood at 477, then rose to 1,402 by 23 September, an increase of 925 under the umbrella of the council tasked with establishing peace. ▪Humanitarian aid: The council failed its simplest test, as families received half their food rations in February and March. ▪By September, the aid delivered met only 50% of the minimum calorie requirement, while two-thirds of Gaza’s population suffer from acute hunger at crisis level or worse according to the IPC classification. ▪Health care: Under the council’s administration, only 19 hospitals out of 36 hospitals in Gaza are operating, all partially, and there is a severe shortage of medicines, equipment and fuel, cancer and kidney patients lack the necessary treatment, tens of thousands need health care abroad, while medical evacuations remain limited. ▪Basic services: About 90% of Gaza’s water and sanitation infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed. ▪By August, 91% of the assessed families faced water insecurity, and about 70% of them received only 6 liters per person per day, while the minimum in emergencies is 15 liters. ▪Recovery: Gaza needs $71.4 billion to restore basic services and infrastructure and revive the economy, which contracted by 84%. ▪The council waited 8 months to unveil a $2.45 billion plan, which includes 66 projects whose implementation lacks funding and access, and to this day reconstruction work has not yet begun. ▪Conflict of interest: Council member "Kushner" oversees Gaza, while his company holds a stake valued at more than $1 billion in Phoenix and investments exceeding $456 million in 9 companies supplying the Israeli army. ▪In July, Affinity sold shares for more than $340 million, realizing 5 times the value of its investment. ▪One undisputed achievement: Israel became a founding member of the Peace Council on 12 February, thus the occupying power secured a seat at the table. ▪Palestinians under occupation got no seat, no protection and no voice, and this is the council’s true record.

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: We warn against the occupation government’s attempt to expand the aggression on the Gaza Strip and exploit the genocide and the suffering of Palestinians in election propaganda to serve Netanyahu’s efforts to escalate and shed Palestinian blood in service of outbidding between war criminals among the poles of the Zionist system.

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine: ▪ We warn against the occupation government’s attempt to expand the aggression on the Gaza Strip and exploit the genocide and the suffering of Palestinians in election propaganda to serve Netanyahu’s efforts to escalate and shed Palestinian blood in service of outbidding between war criminals among the poles of the Zionist system. ▪ Statements by the Israeli war minister, the head of the Shin Bet, and those previously made by Netanyahu aim to prepare international public opinion for expanding the aggression and justifying it under the claim of self-defense in the face of plans being woven by the occupation security apparatus. ▪ The escalations in raids, assassinations, and demolitions near the yellow line indicate that these measures are entering into force gradually. ▪ We affirm that the commitment of the resistance forces to the ceasefire agreement, which the mediators and the relevant international parties are aware of, and the occupation’s statements are seen as open justifications for aggression and for evading commitments. ▪ We affirm that ethnic cleansing, genocide, and demographic dismantling in the Strip through displacement and killing those who reject it are still on the occupation government’s agenda. ▪ So far, the ceasefire agreement has not constituted a real constraint on these plans amid the continued bias of the Peace Council toward the occupation. ▪ We see that the American justification for the aggression and the evasion of ceasefire and roadmap commitments under the pretext of elections gives the occupation a mandate to expand the aggression and continue the genocide. ▪ We call on the mediators and international institutions to take firm steps to thwart these plans and compel the occupation to implement the ceasefire and not turn the blood, suffering of Palestinians, and the destruction in Gaza into tools for outbidding. ▪ We also call on the forces friendly to the Palestinian people and the global movement against genocide to intensify their activities and struggle to stop the ongoing genocide and not to be satisfied with a ceasefire, for the genocide continues through daily killing and the siege, and the occupation is moving ahead in escalating it.
